Or, the easy way: click on "rich text" at the bottom of the text box when you are writing an update. When the icons pop up, click the one that looks like a movie reel. A dialog box pops up asking for a YouTube URL, enter it and hit enter. Submit and viola!
Yeah, you people didn't know about "rich text" mode, didja? That's okay... I didn't either until recently - I always do everything via HTML. I'm stoopid like that.
