Yeah the shoji are mine, they really didn't give us much in the way of bkgs. But the really good pic we had, the one we could not us in the ads, the ESRB made us take off the website. Check it out if you want, there aree a bunch of sketches on it. http://www.atlus.com/izuna/ If you get the game, you also get a mini sketch book in the back, we thought it would be cool as the Japanese publisher did not let us have any of thier limited edition sketch books they made for pre orders. Its turned into quite the "little game that could" for us over the past month or so. I would have posted this on T's page, but I can't figure out how to do that yet, I am pretty dense for computer jockey.
That is so great! On the website which, if any, of the sketches are from the hand of Cail. Which things actually came from the mind of the great man yourselfs?
Aaah, thanks for the kind and encouraging thoughts but, I am actually more of a graphic designer in my present position. Though I secretly indulge my illustration skills with the backgrounds, and get to write snappy copy in some cases (not that aping deodorant ads is snappy...). Still and all, I get to do some fun stuff, but its more ad and packaging design, using the illustrations to put together an image that might appeal to the US market. A lot of the comps (when they actually get of thier dead Nipponese asses and give them to us) don't work so well in their original context for our magazine ads or game covers.

Was also wondering, if so, did you create that screen background from scratch?
Anyway, it looks great. I like seeing your work, keep posting!
