So, there was an epic thunder storm last night. It didn't bother me or anything, but it was intense. Around 1am the lightening was so bright it was lighting up my entire room despite the fact that the blinds were closed

The lightning kept waking me up. Our power went out, which made my room pitch black (there is normally a light on in our hall that gives my room a bit of light). The flashes seemed so bright after that that they woke me up every time. It was especially bad since I have a skylight/window above my bed. Pretty cool on cloud-less starry nights, a pain last night!
