101 in 1001

So, like most people, I make a lot of New Year's resolutions that I don't keep. I make a lot of resolutions at other times in the year too, and I don't tend to keep those either. I like to take on challenges that I forget about (remember the post(s) about reading 50 books?). I probably did read 50 books that year, but stopped keeping track around ( Read more... )

Maybe an idea to remind you of your list would be to print it out and keep it somewhere you look often. Cross things off on that list so you can see your progress.
All the best for your wedding, its such a lovely day.

Yeah, I had the same idea myself. I've already got one printed out, actually. :) Any ideas for keeping track of the daily things? And thank you, I'm really looking forward to the wedding (if not the stress of planning it).

Maybe a shorter list of the daily things, you could colour code them to make it more interesting.
Or put a fun note in the place that the daily thing will happen, like when you brush your teeth or floss, there can be a note by the sink.
It can be stressfull planning a wedding, especially when it involves lots of people trying to have their say.
Get the big things done and out of the way first, then its just the little things. :o)

Yay fellow atheists! :)

Yeah, #48 is one that's going to be more difficult than most, I think. And I may modify the rules a bit for my own project. I kind of don't like the idea of taking 365 pictures of myself.

And thanks. I probably could have filled the entire 101 list with wedding stuff if I'd expanded that section, so yeah...I'm definitely going to be busy. It'll be worth it though. ^_^

hehe thanks. :) Here's the recipe I'm planning on trying, if you're at all interested. http://www.littlehouseinthesuburbs.com/2009/03/quick-stick-deodorant.html

The owner of that blog seems to know what she's talking about, so I'm willing to give it a try. And sticking aluminum in my pores just sounds like a bad idea (which is what most commercial deodorants use).

i've snagged your "daily habits" section for my list! I skip the little-yet-important things all the time when I'm in a rush.

Me too, it's the whole reason that section is on there. :) Good luck with your list!

Great list. Good luck working on it. Looks like we are both going to have a lot going on over the next couple years :)
