Honda Civic Tour

Click if you want to read my long rant about meeting Panic! At The Disco!! (I refuse to give up on the exclamation point, lol.)
So I went to the House of Blues this Thursday and saw Motion City Soundtrack and Panic at the Disco. I've seen MCS before and they were good, as usual. I was really impressed with Panic. I was scared Brendon's voice might crack a lot because I've seen that in some videos, but it sounded good. I don't know how someone can do that night after night and not strain their voice. I couldn't see that well and there were a lot of drunk people, but other than that, it was fun. After the concert, we waited around and saw Panic go to their bus. They couldn't sign stuff because they said they had a long day the next day. So, I had looked on their myspace and it said they were signing stuff at Virgin records, but I completely forgot about it. So, today we wanted to try and see the concert again but it was sold out so my mom walked to Virgin records and asked if, by chance, they still had some wristbands left (that's how you got in to meet them). There were only 300 to start with, so I didn't think we had a chance, but they had 10 left. We got 2 (by buying their cd) and got to meet them and they signed one thing for everyone. I only talked to them for a minute, but they seemed like the sweetest, nicest guys. Very humble and down to earth. I was impressed because I could see how someone could have a big head with about 30 girls outside the glass screaming your name. It was awesome and I love my mom so much!! lol. I didn't want to go to the store, and she was like, we're here, I'll just check (because I really thought it was a lost cause), and it totally paid off. I took a couple pictures (nothing great), but I'll post them later. It also amazed me how people can throw themselves at other people. We were specifically told not to touch them and what does some girl do? Throws her arms around Brendon and tries to get a picture with him. Twice. and he didn't even shove her off. I thought that was cool because if it was me, I couldn't stand a stranger touching me and grabbing at me all the time. They took it all in stride and it's nice to see a younger band so stable and appreciative. Yay, all hope is not loft, lol. It was a great two days!!!! PATD are one of my favorite bands so it was cool that they were so awesome about everything. They deserve all the recognition they have gotten and are getting. I totally recommend seeing them if you like them and/or get the chance. They're incredible live.
*EDIT* I put up some pics. More later.
