So the highlight of today was a big holiday (or Christmas, if you're from Walmart) party over at some family friends' house. To be honest, I was feeling a little stressed getting ready for it. I mean, most people there hadn't seen me as Hayley before, so this was gonna be kind of like my 'coming out party' (in the old, southern sense of the phrase

I'm really glad you're doing very well handling the changes, and that everybody around you is being supportive. Keep up the positive attitude!

Oh, I thought of one more thing. Have you thought about going to a salon, or even a department store, or calling a Mary Kay/Avon lady to help you out with learning to do your hair and makeup? There are millions of ladies who are with either Mary Kay or Avon, and that's pretty much their job-- to teach ladies to deal with their makeup. Likewise at a salon-- just call, explain the situation, and ask if you could come in for a consultation, perhaps a wash/blow-out/style, and have her give you some ideas/practice with doing it yourself.

Just a brainstorm I had while checking my friends page a second time tonight. :)

you do look very pretty...krysten and i have discussed this...and as to the makeup, it takes practice. lots of it, apparently. i'm not so great at it myself... lol
