I saw the new Spiderman movie this weekend, and it was good.  But not great.  The action sequences thrilled, the story and characters were (mostly) engaging, but I couldn't help leaving the theater thinking, "Wow, that was a long movie.  Too long."  Personally, I think you could have taken Sandman completely out of the film and been left with a

Personally, I like the movie less and less the more I think about it. The whole storyline was just..blegh. I did like the way they handled Venom, though, and the fight scenes were badass as usual.

But...emo Spidey? Just...no. I think I actually spotted eyeliner on him in one scene.
