Hoo boy, what a crazy weekend.  Between the wedding, the party, and moving in to my new apartment, I barely had a chance to catch my breath.  Which was cool, though, because the wedding was incredibly sweet, the party was tons of fun, and my new apartment is fucking awesome.

Figured I'd post a quick update on the apartment-hunting.  On Wednesday Na and I found an absolutely fantastic place over in Lake Oswego.  It's about 15 minutes from work, 20 minutes from Portland, has a gorgeous view, is both bigger and less expensive than any of the other apartments we were looking at...I could go on.  Naturally, we snagged it ( Read more... )

After over a year of living with my parents, it looks like I'm finally going to move out.  My friend Navindra and I are looking at renting a two-bedroom apartment somewhere in SW Portland.  The main thrust of our relocation is to find a place with an easier commute and easier access to all the wonderful diversions that downtown PDX has to offer.  ( Read more... )
