I read an article in the Utne Reader recently entitled "The Power of Intentions." This idea has manifested itself time and time again in my life, especially through the written word. Mandifer here. I just wanted to tell you that I love reading your journal and that it was an awesome idea to keep us "in the know" about your life. I really like your entry where you talk about how you don't fight back with your kids when they give you the 'tude (attitude). I really feel that a strong teacher that is in control can win the battles without fighting. Speaking of positive energy, I remember I used to listen to that song "Pig" before going running and it always inspired me. It's amazing how a song can capture your exact emotion; as if it were written specifically for you. One more comment - that picture of you is so cute! Is that a weasel you're holding?! I'm very curious to know. What a funny little guy.
