HELP

So I am having this problem with my computer that REALLY sucks. I guess somehow. Not surprising really, Norton let a Trojan slip by. Now when ever I open a page on the internet I get words that are highlighted randomly throught the page that all link to a site. I have tried to run Norton in safe mode to allieviate this problem and I come to find ( Read more... )

Sounds familiar, you should MSN or e-mail my bro about it, if it is familair, he's the one who fixed it before, I'm sure. me(AT)sd41.net is his e-mail, but for MSN, silverdagger41(AT)hotmail.com

I recognize this one, but cannot recall the name of it. I know there are removal instructions for it (it's not easy), but I can't find them because I can't remember what it's called. If Norton is giving you a name for it, let me know and I'll look it up.

In the meantime, here's a suggestion for getting rid of it:
1) Download Avast! Anti-Virus from www.avast.com (it's free and is better than any of those paid-for services ( ... )

Go to http://www.download.com and get Spybot Search & Destroy. It's totally free, and the best anti-spyware/anti-adware/anti-malware program available.

It should be able to get rid of it for you.
