and i think the percentage of good writers in seattle may possibly be higher than the percentage of good writers in the whole united states. have you ever traveled to other parts of the country? the rest of the world may be smarter, but the rest of the country is, frighteningly, dumb.

I mean tag-writers. Seattle does have an incredibly respectable literary culture, but I haven't seen many tags that impress me. Seattle street art is largely stencil based, and while we do have awesome stencils, it's been awhile since I've seen tags that really blow my mind.

I suppose my time in the SJ-Oakland area kind of set my standards high though. SJ has some awesome trainyard art.

For real, dude - I wish Seattle had more awesome street art. I've been checking out Wooster Collective and the shit up there is amazing.
