Sure! As a kid, I did it many times. So did my brother and sister. I thought everyone did. Whistled into the fan, too.

How did you manage to avoid doing it?

Honestly, I don't recall ever doing it or seeing anybody else do it. I may have just forgotten. The first really I've seen this was in that Lucky Star episode.
