Does anyone know how I might get my hands on Joanna Russ' essay on slash, "Pornography by women, for women, with love"? I've looked everywhere online, even on the academic sites where you can pay for viewing books, and I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks!

I looked through my school's databases and couldn't find it. Someone's going to have to tell dougs that he needs an operation to stay in the club.

Eh, that was one of the older things written about slash... They had some weirdass ideas then. :-P

well in hardcopy it seems to be one of six essays in this hundred dollar book. Maybe you can track it down in some library system near where you live by the ISBN.

WorldCat sez there are 3 libraries that have it within 20mi of my house: UMCP, UMBC and of course LoC.

I wish they had it around here, but I rather doubt it that they do - if our library doesn't have it, it is pretty unlikely that the Hungarian libraries will.
