You could always do what I did and break your MP3 player. Then you can't listen to music even when you want to.

I don't think it is a big deal if you listen to music all the time. Just make sure that you are not so hooked that one day without your ipod is unbearable.

By the way, my reading livejournal is a way to put off P-chem homework, which is slowly sucking my soul!!!
