Now that I finally have my computer back...
Got my computer back yesterday, after the dudes at Best Buy tried to charge me 30 dollars for services I could perform myself, and software I could find on the internet myself. I guess they were just trying to do their job, but come on. Do I look like someone who knows nothing about computers? Maybe the Peyton Manning jersey was throwing them off.
Anyways, I was surprised about how quick it took to get my computer back to the way it was before I turned it in. I got my wallpaper(s), my black Windows theme, my Firefox theme, all my plugins, my music library... I hope all my real-life renovations and move-ins go as smoothly as this virtual one did. And today I was back downloading music and chatting away, like nothing ever happened.
In other news, I got owned on my P-chem test, throwing into jeopardy whether I will even have a shot at graduating with honors. Of course, I can't even graduate with honors unless I find a research job, but that's not something I was really intent on doing anyway. But I will definitely graduate, barring a major meltdown. But I do have a backup plan. I don't really know what it is exactly, but it's there.
Also, the Jamie Cullum concert was awesome. I don't really recall specifics of the concert, except for the fact that I got an autographed songbook, and that the entire concert was just amazing. Maybe I should write right after the concert next time... thanks for coming with me, Joan!
So now I'm going to go back to putting the finishing touches on installing stuff onto my computer... instead of homework. No wonder I won't be graduating with honors.
