the race results are here. i began in last place. rode with a pack of 3 other woman for a bit and then decided to go it alone, took down one other girl in spandex, and then caught a 5th and let her draft me until the end when she sped up the hill with her reserved energy. i got 40 out of 45 in cat 4 women with a week and a half of training and yode

i don't know what any of this means except that you're kickass! racing must be tough. i keep thinking about it... but... i'm a big fat chicken.
