ideal but so unlikely. i think people are ready for a change... but are they going to swing this far? he appeals to the educated and hopeful, but can he grab the deep south and the majorities who voted in bush?

Majorities who voted in Bush aren't there anymore. Obama has been known to work with both sides of the aisle. I think it's going to be a big struggle, but not in the general, but rather just getting the nomination.

HRC has a huge network at her disposal and a ton of cash. If he can stay kinda close, I think he wins.

I think we should have Clinton and Clinton run. Hilary up front, Bill as VP, and then Obama after they're done. It would be fun to have a VP that was once president, plus if someone knocked off Hilary, Bill could be pres again. Omg.

I think the majorites that are set in the deep south ways still exist as educated by their own elders. We think like "big city smart folk" rather than small town tradition. We KNOW what hope feels like and we yearn for it. There are other people that want more solid experience and consistency than drastic change. I see Hilary Clinton as being able to support both sides and _win_. She has the experience of being in the White House during a time that we look back on with Rose Coloured glasses and yearn for. Plus she has respect of many of her peers and "them important type folk".

Obama brings with him fresh life, layman terms, excitement that you can relate to. I am currently reading his latest book and its like watching a great romantic drama movie where you just want to leap up on your seat and say: "oh hell yeah!"

But "movies" are different than the "really real life".

He seems like too much too soon. If I could shove around dates and pull out a second term I'd line him up for 2012.
