Has it ever occurred to you how much of a futile effort it is to keep to your own point of view, when faced with the greater forces that define and shape the world? Why do you worry about getting into 'trouble'? You have every right to your opinions. If someone else gets pissy then why worry? It's not you problem (as long as you weren't a jerk about expressing that opinion which I doubt you generally are).

My opinoins get me in trouble all the time. But i feel more awesome when i have them anyways, than if i just accepted the moment.

that thing that the guy said. yeah.
something about it being easy in solitude to follow one's own opinions and easy in a crowd to follow the crowd's but it's the great person who in the midst of the crowd can keep the independence of that solitude.
or something. you get the idea.

i have lots and lots and lots of opinions, but most of them aren't very firm. they are easily adaptable to incorporate new information (except for a few, which i've decided i've pretty thoroughly heard all the information I'm going to, and hearing more would just be repetition in different words) or susceptible to tinkering, and that works, usually. the point is most of them don't get made or thrown away on a whim. or something.

i dunno, i've been working all day and i'm sleepy, maybe i'll come back to this when i'm more coherent.
