i had the same issue when i was in denmark a couple of years ago. no obviously good gifts. i suggest something viking or one of those wooden horse things. but i think the vikings are more norway and the horses are really more from sweeden. i just asked eric what i bought him and i guess i got him a viking magnet and some beer. you could get something little mermaidish since there's the little mermaid statue in copenhagen. or some herring. those are both from denmark...btw, it rained the whole time i was in denmark too... so, maybe the best present you could buy yourself is your own umbrella!

why was I left out? I don't get time to zone out either, even during lunch. I have patients back to back and have a total of 30 minutes given for paperwork, which isn't enough, so I work through most of my lunch to catch up. And I don't even get summers off. And while I'm with my patients (I love most of 'em, but they are a challenge) I have receptionists, physicians, and other patients trying to get ahold of me, and I'm involved with program develoment. Okay, I had an exceptionallly busy day today, and had to stay late, so I'm partially venting, but I work really hard too!

Shopping: Buy some clogs and smuggle in some cheese!!!
