The wedding itself was really quick--about 20 minutes or something. Then we drove around Madison in the limo drinking champagne for about 30 minutes. By the time we made it to the reception, they did the receiving line and everyone got seated, dinner didn't start until after 7:00. The blanket is all sewn together, now I just need to trim up all the loose ends and stuff.

And pack. I dislike packing. Very, very much.

Its official. Alex and I bought plane tickets for our first little vacation together. We are going to Maine the last weekend of September. So now we have to stay together for the next two and a half months, otherwise it will be a very awkward plane ride sitting next to him. :) At this point, I'm not worried.

Tonight was my swim across Lake Calhoun night. Tonight we decided we would swim across and then swim back. Seemed like fun, right? We made it almost all the way across (the weeds on the other side were too thick, so we turned around just before we reached the shore) and about half way back.
