Oh how I loved that show. It wasn't easy to follow (according to the ex) but the episodes I was able to see I simply adored.

Thanks for letting me know how the finale was - no I didn't get to see it either and I did wonder if he finally *leaped* home.

You should Netflix it. Cliff's Notes version is that Sam leaps into the body of some dude, back during the Vietnam days. Al tells him that Ziggy believes his mission is to convince this woman to not give up on her POW husband.

Sam eventually finds out that the woman is Al's wife. He gets her to wait for Al. We find out at the end that Sam could have lept home any time that he wanted. But he doesn't...he keeps leaping, helping people. The part of him that wants to help people is apparently stronger than the part of him that wants to go home.

awwww, i liked that episode too. especially when Al was giving him all that "false" information and then you realize it was Al's life he had leaped into.

such a great story and a great show!! i loved the character dynamics. of course, i can't see "Al" anywhere else in anything else without saying "Al!!!"
