Is it just me, or has Smallville become one gigantic whine-fest? It's always, "Lana, I love you" this and "Clark, no more secrets" that. I mean gimme a break! Before I have to start breathing into a paper bag here... Is Micheal Rosenbaum leaving Smallville?! If so let me know so I can just jump off this ride right now! He's the only reason I watch most of the time anymore, to see how far gone Lex is now. -K:(

Last year, Michael announced that this season 7 would be his last. They've filmed till episode 15 before the strike, and the CW approved 5 more episodes to finish the season after the strike was over.

The producers want SV to go on until season 8, but unless Michael renews, it'll have to be without him.

On Jan 21st, Michael gave an interview where he tells the fans to "watch Smallville. For two more months, cause then I'm gone."
