i'd start a plurk because microblogging's probably just about what i have time for right now, but i love LJ and its content too much; if i start plurking it would feel like i'm giving up on reading, too. D:

I've never thought of it that way. Although I have seen really long threads/discussions in plurk, myself I use it to post random spur-of-the-moment stuff.

I'd have to agree though that it is a place to vent out when all you have time for is 140 characters. But I'll also have to agree that LJ is still where I go to if I have the time for something a bit more substantial. Most of the time, plurk is reserved for crack and LULZ :P
