Can it be considered ironic that the day after we celebrated Independence Day, there's a good bit of demagoguery going on in regard to one of the key results of that revolution, which is that in order to convict someone the government has to prove their guilt beyond a reasonable doubt

I completely agree. She may (or may not) have killed her daughter, but the government did not prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. I'm glad we still have people in this country courageous enough to follow the law instead of kowtowing to media whores like Nancy Grace.
