i havent read the comics, but i cant imagine that they were as painfully slow moving as the walking dead is today. im sure the plot was cyclical and annoying, but this show is like molasses rolling up an iceberg. it seems like they are doing this not for stylistic reasons, but to make sure that they can get as many seasons as possible out of a property that already has a defined end. there is simply no excuse for the way they drug out a single scene over the course of two episodes at the beginning of this season. aged snails have more pep than the pace at which the directors move these episodes. thankfully this season many of my friends got sick of the obvious filler ploy and stopped caring about, and thus incessantly talking about this show that i stopped liking after season 1.

listening to the z realm has always been enjoyable though, and for a long time i listened to that rather than actually keeping up with the series. XD
