Woodstock - 3 Days of Peace and Music
I got the DVD of Woodstock- the two disc 40th anniversary edition- from the library. I have never liked Jimi Hendrix, but watching him perform the music made it magic, rather than it being the tinny, messed up sort of crackhead stuff when I hear it on the radio (yeah, I still listen to radio sometimes - I'm old). Sooo tired…
I was so tired at work. I made a cup of Chai tea to get some caffeine in me, but knocked it over and broke my van Gogh travel mug (And dang it, I liked that mug). I broke a Coca Cola glass last week at work. Guess I should give up liquids at the desk. I’m too much of a klutz. Long Time, no Blog
It's June already. Aside from that, not much else is new. We're all in good health here. The granddaughter - the non-fur one- celebrating her 11th birthday; the older daughter celebrating her 32nd birthday; my mother celebrating her 80th birthday (thank goodness, we'll be there for that one- I hope, since Elysha and I are driving down on the 14th ( Read more... ) -

Today, Elysha took me to a beautiful Spanish restaurant, called Meson Madrid (if you go to their site, turn the sound down and look at the images- our booth was just to the left of the yellow arch in the picture of the rear dining room), that she designs the menus for. Better, but not much
Feeling a bit better today, but have been either in bed or in the bathroom much of it. I had a can of chicken broth for “lunch”. It seemed to help a bit. Elysha brought me some Imodium and PowerAde - it certainly tastes better than I recall that Gatorade did. It’s Coke’s version of Gatorade, so I guess that makes the difference. when I went back ( Read more... ) -
Another exciting week...
Well, it’s been a while. On the good news front - Elysha was accepted to her college in Worchester, U.K. Same new, bad side - we have to get the money for tuition, housing, etc. Same front good news - Elysha opened a bank account at a bank that has branches in the U.K. Bad news on that - she only had $10 to deposit, which is probably $7 by now, ( Read more... ) -
Bzz Agent Report
I’m a Bzz Agent and I’m now in two campaigns. One is for a product I really want to like - the Pledge™ Fabric Sweeper. It’s supposed to remove pet hair easily. It’s an enclosed pod with two lint brushes that rub against each other to pick up the hairs. You might have seen a commercial for it. It looks like it will do a good job and it does.
