Last night I went to Chicago for fighter's practice, where Kith and I spent an hour or two beating on each other. I learned useful stuff.

Tonight I believe we're having panang for dinner. Alternately, I'll go to our local practice and hit people with sticks. Tomorrow night is Medea. Saturday and Sunday are Faire. La la la, and End of line.

Twelve years ago in Pennsylvania a King told me some great truths. Monday night I went hardware shopping and visited the theater, where I watched some rehearsal and chickened out of drilling into the cement walls at 9 PM lest I wake the little old lady who lives upstairs. Made it to Friday. Monday night was shopping, including a carpet cleaner for pet-related stains. (Thanks, Petranella!) Tuesday night was the financial committee meeting, which was largely uneventful. Ginger and Scott pulled into town late Thursday morning. I took a couple hours off at the end of the work day and joined them, expecting to help unload the truck and unpack the tubbies. Life progresses, it does. Vigil prep and theatre move and sleep and Ben's new job and event prep and driving and fighting and sweating. (Someone said 'Weather like this is why we suffered six months of winter.' I think they have that backwards.)
