Lately the S.O. and I have been arguing about (among other things) the placement of the loaf bread. She argued that placing the bread on top of the fridge made the bread stale

I found that out a few years ago - the top of the fridge gets hotter than normal and it dries out the bread

and things get hotter in the microwave if you carve out a circle in the middle.. But I don't think Pixel is the reason for that.
