So hey, I've been meaning to ask... Do we have to keep these guys in those ball things? Is it some kind of law or something? I know it makes for better entrances and all, sure, but at least half of mine don't seem to really like it that much. Compared to being inside of them anyway.

[to make his point, Sonic tosses the PokeGear to his Sentret, who ( Read more... )

I haven't... heard of any law like that. My own partners usually stay by my side... and no one has complained.

Really? That's great!

So what do you have?

Mm, I agree. [She feels bad about cooping her Pokémon up in little balls, even if they usually don't seem to mind.]

Ah, just a moment... [She turns the camera around to point to a shaded area under a tree (she's not far out from Violet City right now). A Meowth is keeping to himself, a Hoothoot is preening his feathers, and a Flaaffy is chatting with a patient-looking Psyduck. In order she points to them...] This is Maru-chan, Archie-kun, Laine-chan, and Akira-chan.

Glad to hear it!

... Nice party you have going there. Hey everybody! [spreading his arms around to his own.] Guess you've already met my group here.

Mm..usually, I let my pokémon walk around town. They seem to like that a lot, [amused tone of voice] although Flora gets into a little trouble that way...

Even if they get into trouble, huh? That's not a bad idea at all. [... and why is this girl so familiar.]

It's up to you, but no one will stop you from letting your pokémon walk around on their own.

I don't see why it's a big deal, but carting around three-plus Pokémon outside their balls might be a pain.

[Especially when they're... y'know, big. Like the 4'7'', derpy Nidoking in the background, or 5'3'', like the Haunter chasing said Nidoking. Oh, and there's a 4'11'' bird watching them both with a bored expression.]

... Whoa.

[... ALL OF THOSE POKEMON ARE TALLER THAN SONIC.]

[...even as a human? Crazy stuff. However, his 'whoa' is enough to catch the attention of Slacker at least, so he'll stumble on over to Riku with a grunt. Hello, stranger.

Riku, on the other hand, just runs one hand through his hair.]

I've been at it for months. If they weren't so huge, then I guess I'd let them out more.

[Yup! As a human, Sonic is a whopping 4'3" - a foot taller than his hedgehog form I might add.]

Months? Jeez...

Why's that?

Because this doggy face tries to draw all over my work. It ruins the art.
