Presidential Inauguration

Bush was elected eight years ago. That was the last inauguration I would expect myself to remember, but I don't remember it happening at all. Don't get me wrong, I'm Canadian, I'm not really expected by anyone else to know things about America. ... but I don't think I would have forgotten an inauguration like this

I'll be the first person to admit that I didn't vote for Obama, but also the first to admit that I am pretty excited and hopeful about him being our President.

Politics aside, I think Barack is what America needed to bring a large majority of us closer - together we are all hoping for his promised change, and whether or not he TRULY brings change, it's the first thing Americans have wished for, collectively, side-by-side.
