Who has a tragus piercing that can potentially answer my questions before I do something completely irrational and irresponsible??

Also: if I get sick, or make anyone around me contract strep throat, it's not my fault. I walked into a biohazard fridge with Rosie and examined her test tubes. Test tubes that were breeding strep throat. Seriously

What is a tragus piercing...?

And don't get it.

Tragus piercing is the part of your ear that stick out from your head... Scarlett Johansen has a tragus... let me see if I can find a pic...

It's the gold hoop. I've been thinking about it, but I play sports and have aerobics currently, and I wanted to know about things like that before getting it done. AND whether it'll have an impact on my hearing because that's already damaged.

And my friend is a biology major. I went with her into her lab and she had a specimen she was working on and it was strep throat... she warned me to not get too close... so... my warning. Of stupidity actually, since we were in a biohazard lab and I wanted to see her bubbly germs.

Ew. Strep throat is no fun. I had it once and my tonsils swelled up to the size of shooter marbles.

Your very casual warning of you being potentially contagious is appreciated. :P But yeah, it'll totally be your fault. At least you won't be able to transmit it over the 'net, or else I'd really hate on you for a good day or two. LOL.

HAAHH... my friend at York is a biology major, and Friday we had to check on her germs for her lab. She told me not to get too close, just in case, because she was breeding strep throat. It was fun though. Lots of cut guys in biology. Wish we had 'em in English!

Apparently all that they've learned in lecture for that class is how to seal anthrax and send it to your enemies via the mail -- all in good jokes, I believe, but why can't English professors be like that??

((But honestly, what am I complaining about? I've got a potential film major on the side))

School every day, but Friday afternoons or Tuesday mornings are pretty good. Weekends are good too.

See, I don't want a Scarlett gold hoop anyway -- I'm not a gold person, so stainless steel in silver is fine. I'm more worried about aerobics and my hearing than earbuds for my iPod (I don't listen to it anymore, adn really can't) and what it might mean for going clubbing and wearing earplugs after getting the tragus pierces.

How large should that piece of skin be, anyway? My cartilidge there is fairly small and I'm not sure if it's even possible to get my tragus pierced.

Also, I can clean it fairly often, I'm not going anywhere, but in May-June I might so I'd want it either healed or nearly healed by then. :S I was going to go to the local Stinger Tattoo and speak to the people there about it as well either this or next week/weekend and then make my decision.

How much did it cost, too??

I never wanted a cartilidge after seeing my friend get hers done and hearing how it BLED like a muthfucka and how her parents freaked. Crazy orthodox Greeks...

lol. Nose is silly, in my opinion, only because I keep remembering that scene from Clueles...

"Dee, you need to remember to remove your nose piercing then you get a cold!"
(high pitched) "Ah-cooooooo!!"

Really? Do you prefer a barbell to a hoop? I'm been thinking about this for so long I just want to GET it or forget finally... and I only have my lobes pierced, no second piercing or anything, so I like to think it'll still look really really tasteful.
