Perspective
I weighed my road bike last night.
21.6 pounds. Not bad; I actually would have guessed that it weighed in the 23-24 pound range. In the interest of perspective, the advertised weights for some of the expensive, fancy bikes fall between 16.5 and 18 pounds. Since Lance is back into the full swing of professional cycling after 3 years off, I've found it very interesting reading his updates.

Sitting here at work, I decided, just for entertainment, to see what my heart rate might be.
I went out to my truck and grabbed the strap to my HRM, went into the bathroom and put the strap down, then returned to my desk.
As I'm sitting here typing, my heart rate ranges from 56 to 60 BPM. -
