I...

... am not at Whitby. Despite having a ticket in front of me, I've decided that I need "rest" more than I need "seaside". On the plus side there is a light at the end of the tunnel of early mornings and long commute.

I might even manage a proper update later.

whitby, work

Does anyone actually go to Whitby for seaside any more?

Hugs. I wish I was in a place where "long commute" meant "extra rest"... damned car.

Each time I go I try to get down to the beach. It has to be more than just goths.

I did snooze all the way to Notts earlier this week (on the train) but it's still not worth the 5am start.

*re-reads post* Ahh, a light at the tunnel of commutes, not commutes being a light at the end of the tunnel of no rest.

That does make more sense...

There's still WGT soon - and I might pop up in May to WH if you're around?

Not quite yet! More "colleague buying new house with spare room close to office and looking for housemate a couple of nights a week thus removing the need for long commutes".

Nice, a life outside of work and commuting and the possibility for sweet sweet sleep.

Indeed! In any case - it'd be nice to catch up and meet some more Notts people if you're up for it at some point.
