Good grief that really wasn't long was it? No way you could have done it by video conferencing etc? I can't talk really as I'm flying up to Edinburgh next Thursday for what was originally going to be a 3 hour meeting. As it was the first one it was to be face to face so we could all meet each other. Thankfully I found another reason to stay for the whole day to make it a bit more worthwhile!

This was a seminar thing and was interesting - but...

I did do London and back for a 45 min meeting that was held in a videoconference studio. I wasn't impressed.

Are you in First Class?

Whenever I've tried to use the GNER wifi, I've always been disappointed to find that they expect the plebs to pay for it. :-(

Yeah - First Class travel is the 'the perk'. I'll think of you the 30 min I'm in York station today and tomorrow. It'll be like the old days :-)

At least GNER have it - Midland Mainline and Virgin don't.

Ahhh - Wifi is v. 'spensive in cattle class - 10p a minute for the shortest deal, cheaper if you buy longer chunks
