Good to meet you as well. I didn't mean 'body' in the literal sense- it is simply a metaphor. Like all organs in the body, a governing class must work flawlessly together for the ease of the civilization they rule over. In the case of Adstringendum, I was inquiring about a police force, a lawmaker- things like that.

There hasn't been any sort of leader in the entire existence of this place. And we've been getting along fine without it. We have some authoritative figures, but nothing more.

It's rather smart of you to do your research before announcing yourself to the network, though. Just how did you find out about our magic?

Forgive me for disagreeing with you, but just from looking over the network the past week, it's quite obvious that people have not been 'getting along fine'. I wasn't suggesting a single leader, however- due to the diverse nature of the population in this place, I think it would be more apt to introduce a system where multiple people are allowed to give their input on major decisions... so long as it doesn't interfere with the safety of others, at any rate.

[A pause here. He straightens his cuffs, preening a little at the compliment.]

And thank you. I do my best to be as informed as possible before stepping into a situation. As for the abilities- well. People are posting examples of such to the network, not to mention the information on it in the newcomer post.

Not to discourage you, but just how do you plan on finding a way to 'govern' over so many deifferent species that have a different concept of right and wrong, of what constitutes a crime and what a law is supposed to say?

Some of us have been here for years and it is not the first time the idea has been mentioned, but it's been shot down every time. There are no universals that all the people here can relate to, and with the possibility of people disappearing with no warning, that just isn't feasible.

Others may have tried, but I have both experience and skill in governing many different types of people. At the very least, we can set aside a few basic rules that everyone should adhere to.
