You know I'm here for you. Splitting things up is the worst, but maybe clearing out all those cobwebs will be just what you both need to start really fresh. But you are the most important thing; take extra special care of it.

It sounds like you're doing togetherness the right way, as hard as it is. There are so many ways this process goes--I've done two of them, more or less, and seen many others. It seems like your measured, natural approach is pretty safe.
