Food Thoughts: Journeyman Restaurant

So, my lovely wife and I were in the Boston area for a primarily family-oriented trip, though we did make one side-trip to our friends' recently-opened restaurant, Journeyman. They have past menus up on their site, so I suspect, as a result, that they'll have this past week's menu up soon enough. ( Detailed breakdown of the meal follows )

I have not eaten at Journeyman yet, but I can attest that Tse Wei (and Diana) can really cook. So good.

I went to Journeyman with Adrienne &co a couple weeks ago, and it was, indeed, pretty l33t stuff food-wise. And I say this without being a friend of the owners! Just a friend of their friends.

I left Gloria a note saying that I was going to be in the area and if it made sense to swing in some time on Tuesday or Wednesday, and she failed to respond.

...but yeah. Tse Wei and Diana are mad cooking fiends.

Sadly, we moved to Eastie before Journeyman opened, so it'd be more of a trip now for us to get there. But I hope we get a chance.

And I'm very glad Tse Wei is doing this now - I've only hung out with him a few times, and he never seemed happy about his old job.
