Another wonderful chapter and yes, i'm one of the persons who don't like claiming at all (too much 4evah! "Pretty Woman" romance for me) - but You could just pull it off. It feels quite natural within Your story for a special bonding ritual to be there. You really do extremely well by incorporating fairy tale elements and within the fairy tale, such a ritual is completely on the plate. I can honestly say that Your "destininy stuff" is so well done and flows so smoothly in Your story that it feels like honey dripping down my throat despite the fact that i'm really not into that "predestined" thing. But You make it work, oh so well.

I waffle, I admit. The romantic in my adores the idea of "Together forever" while the cynic in me scoffs at it. This story is sort of my way of reconciling the two impulses in as realistic a way as possible, within the confines of the 'verse.

But you might like to know that my next story (the one I posted the snippet of the other day) is going the opposite way. I thought since I took the whole fairytale route on this one, that the next one would be more realistic. No prophecies or destinies... just two very real characters trying to muddle through an intense and difficult situation and hopefully coming to love each other by the end of it.

Oh, You're definitely succeeding in combining those two impulses. And yes, i do know of those two souls inside: but then, my own inner romantic comes from Beaudelaire - what, You say Beaudelaire is not a romantic? ;-)

And, You just know how to hook someone up on Your drugs. Mooooore! Mooore stories! Must... read... moooore.

Great chapter.... love that they are home and with pooh bear! I love pooh bear, I hope he doesn't turn evil or side with the snow bitch. Just a few comment on this chapter; I liked your beginning author note about Xander, I am not a Xander fan but your note on him is a fair assessment of his character, and I realize I should give him another chance.

When we get to my house, I help Spike out, even though he's a big faking liar-head

Hee! I like that he overheard the conversation, now maybe he'll believe that she loves him.

All I ask is that you trust me just a little further.

Of course I trust you, if I didn't would I have invested my time in reading 67 chapters? I don't think so!

I love Spike mixing with the Scoobies with the new dynamic. It's so fun! Rupes and Spike interaction always cracks me up.

Love the big faking liar-head inner Buffy thought.

Would never ever hate anything about this story. Every chapter surpasses my expectations and then some!

Your Buffy is an absolute joy to read. Good for her, standing up for Spike, and to the rest of the Scoobies. And Spike's response to the growing evidence that he really is loved is heartwarming. His response to Xander and Giles is totally in character, and totally priceless. I

I did NOT expect Pooh to turn into a dog, but am so glad he did -- it will make it much easier for Spike to bond with him.

Still loving this so much!

I'm thrilled that PoohBear made it to Sunnydale, and in a form that shouldn't suffer too much in the heat that will eventually return.
And, judging by Anya's reaction to him, maybe he'll be some help to them in the coming fight.

I've no particular objection to claim-fics, and I would have every confidence, should you have decided to take that route, that you would have done it well. I look forward to reading what you've got planned for us instead.

And may I say this was a perfect chapter! Great homecoming, and POOHBEAR!!
