Oh no, the scoobies are not going to like hearing about Spike's past. The smut was just what the doctor ordered after being in a hell dimension. Great chapter!!

For me, personally, there's never any need to apologize for anything. The opening scenes demonstrated how deep their relationship is growing, and yes, was damn hot. I loved how they took care of each other, and how tender they were with each other. Balm to my Spuffy heart.

I also loved how continutally surprised Spike is that Buffy loves him. His speech about wanting Buffy to love him more?? Well, everyone seems to assume that Spike loved the most in that relationship -- but you raise the perfect counterpoint. Spike needed Buffy;s particular love more than any other in order to be the man he could become. They need each other and mesh so perfectly -- thank you for illustrating that so well here.

*whimpers* Can a shower scene be more sensual than this?! I don't think so... ;)

It'll be very interesting to see how that enjoining ritual affects them. They have a huge decision to make, especially if immortality really is at play here!

I would definitely panic too if I was Buffy and looked at myself in the mirror after being in frigid temperatures for days on end. She is definitely a resilient gal to get through all that. And that scene led to an extremely sweet shower scene. It's lovely to see them so loving and caring with each other. I also liked your theory (or rather Spike's) on Buffy's life span. I also had that same theory that if a slayer is constantly healing, wouldn't it follow that the other cells in her body constantly heal & regenerate as well? Can't wait to find out the Scoobies reaction to Buffy's adventure!
