Today was my first day of substitute teaching. The 5th graders and I were totally sweet. We read some stuff, watched Bill Nye and learned some Spanish. It was ok. Not a bad experience for my first time. Go team.

it's the same story. you can change the scenery and the characters' names, but it is the same story. you could even change the plot, but the story would still remain. it will not change. you may try, but the story is unalterable. what you do with the story is up to you, but know that the story doesn't care what you think.

i could hardly see this coming... :) this still isn't grounds to call me a dirty hippie though (giant...).

i often wonder if changing locations would help make life more interesting.

i'm beginning to conclude that what i am looking for may not be some sort of outside stimulus. this conclusion does not make it easier though.

maybe being uncomfortable is okay.
