After several rave reviews and the few years I've been driving past :) I finally stopped at Rocket Donuts this morning. I walked into a small and sweet smelling shop, quickly perused the selection and ordered my favorite. Chocolate Bismark

There is only one donut I walk into Rockets for, and that is the almond covered raised donut. No one else makes it, and if they ever try they never put that many almonds on it. It is worth that $1.69 just for the almonds, because it seems like it should cost them that much to make it just for the almonds.

Otherwise, I concur.

Actually, according to a blind taste test by a large sampling of employees of a large local company, Haggen makes the best donuts, followed closely by Lafeen's.
