One would think a bloody war would find us mercenaries swimming in gold, and yet the greatest spoil of war I find myself inheriting is one of these accursed magicked journals. Much as I enjoy pilfering the corpses of Agni Rastra's finest, one might hope to find something of slightly more value in such a fanciful pocket.

Yeah, I don't really know why some people fight. I know Berserker fights because he wants to, but since we can get money for it too, we just fight for whoever pays.
