Ok here is a chemistry question. Why is one of the Warnings on the back of the Non-Drowsy cold medicine “may cause drowsiness”?

Because even though the pill is likely antihistamine free (antihistamines being the meds in most cold meds that cause drowsiness), some people can still react by becoming drowsy to meds that don't affect most folks that way.
