Yeah, I know. I've accepted it. I don't like it, but if you want to miss out on one of the best monster movies pretty much ever, then that's your choice.

See, Cloverfield is unique as a monster movie, in that there really is no suspension of belief required. You can actually take it seriously without feeling like a complete idiot.
