I couldn't write anything yesterday. As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, we lost canuckgirl unexpectedly. It has hit me very hard. According to the police officer that I spoke with, it is most likely that I was last person to speak with her while she was alive. I know that at the time I last spoke with her she was happy and contented. That is how

She was such a special person. She's been on my LJ friends list for the better part of ten years. We exchanged Christmas cards. She was always friendly and supportive and adventurous. She was so looking forward to the next time she saw you, too. And she loved her time in Vegas. The fact that she was happy gives me some comfort. But damn, I'm going to miss her. :( I still can't believe it.
