First of all, a quick reminder that Blood Ties returns next Friday, Oct. 12. However, if you simply cannot wait 6 more days, the season premiere is available as a free download on iTunes, AND it's on Yahoo TV. I've downloaded it this morning, but haven't had time to watch it yet. Truthfully, I haven't quite decided whether to go ahead and watch

While I do like and watch it, next week's episode will be about the protagonist killing the 'bad' vampire. And we, the viewers, along with the journalist love interest will get to see the 'difference' between good and bad ones. I wish the episode was written so it was not so clear cut.

IMO, that's why FK will always be my fav vampire series. Because though I did not agree at all with the underlying philosophy of the show (threw shoe at tv more than once), sometimes the storylines were not predictable. And I'd like to see a little more of that.

Sorry for the rant. It's just what I was thinking at the moment:)

I got to agree with the vampire lore info and not making a mistake. It is more common to think silver and werewolves, not silver and vampire. And the use of holy items is too BIG a part of the mythology not to get in the books and stand out. It would be the first thing that someone would try.

I don't know about you, but I am hoping that they pick it up right were they left it this Friday. I wanted to hit the TV when they ended it that way. It was a great way to get us to come back next week, but it hurt like hell! I wanted to see the rest of that conversation!!!!
