Last week had some mixed news. I heard some awful news about a friend, but it did prompt me to get in touch with him again. We discovered that Malselene had never been clubbing, so took her to The Calling and discovered that she is a shockingly good dancer

Once I get settled in, we should get together and do some longsword. I've not done that much of it, but I think I've got the basics down, and there's nothing like practice for learning.

I'd be interested in hearing about your armour test runs as I'm thinking of going with partial plate for Empire, so that primer would be useful as well. Something perhaps for the Empire wiki?

Also I am intrigued by the idea of a dancing Malselene, I'm now imagining her at the Raver/Hippy night we went to at the weekend waving glowsticks around :)

I would be very interested in an armour primer. Though I expect you're less familiar with my fitting issues ;-)

I'm still toying with ideas for Empire. Depending on the culture and viability I'm considering splint and steel scale instead of plate. I'm not worried about the weight of platefor an extended period it's the problems with overheating that i'm pondering

Armour primer would be useful, as have only ever worn chain and am feeling very Slavic at the moment
