[the dorm itself is as cold, quiet, and creepy as someone might expect, but Suzaku knows it's best to give Rolo and Lelouch a little more time together until he moves in there. But it's not like the dorm room is any easier, but in a way, he's used to living alone, dealing with things himself, the weight of that not being as unbearable as it might

[It's a little difficult to carry two thermoses of hot cocoa, a huge, soft blanket, and a stuffed animal, but Euphemia manages as best as she can, all the way down to the dorms, cringing at shadows and noises as she goes. It's not like she's terribly afraid of the dark but she knows some of the people that lurk around here are dangerous and she tries to keep as safe as possible, when she can.

Once she arrives, it takes a moment to find his dorm and get a hand to knock with, but she manages, biting her lip as she waits]

[it actually doesn't occur to him that the knock is Euphie. It makes sense that it might be Lelouch, demanding that he finally move in after taking too long, or perhaps someone from the force (which he's recently joined). Suzaku rolls up and moves to leave his bed when Arthur jumps up and latches on to his finger as he's standing, and being a good owner, he carefully moves Arthur into a position within his arm, not disturbing his hold on his finger. After reaching the door, he opens it, surprise immediately crossing his features as he takes in Euphie and everything else she's gathered. He quickly pushes the door open the entire way so she can step inside easily, and he wishes Arthur weren't in his arms so he could help her]

Euphie ...

[he tries to say more, but he winces. Arthur has bitten down a little harder]

[pacifisting]

...Ah.

[It's all she can really say for the moment, lips twitching as she looks at the familiar sight, just the slightest ache in her heart, because she's missed this-- missed Suzaku and Arthur and-]

Some things don't change, mmm?

[shifts what she's holding in her arms, a slight laugh escaping]

I'd help free you but I'm afraid my arms are full too. Do you mind if I come in?

Mm! I'm glad Arthur was able to come with me. And of course you can come in, Euphie.

[he tries to tilt forward to suggest to Arthur that he should jump down, but the cat doesn't take the suggestion. it leaves Suzaku waiting by the door to close it after her]
