I had another interesting dream recently. I dreamt of the Hindu God,
HanumanIn my dream, I travel to a temple. I am in a line with other people. Prayers and chanting are all around. Incense is burning. I approach a man who places ash on my forehead while chanting. Next I am traveling to another temple. I approach three men. One of them reaches for

But- this is usually the left hand path. Shiva, Parvati, Kali, Durga.
Hanuman is generally on the right hand path. Being Sita's champion.
It sounds like a blessing, regardless. And a mind opening. Like the previous blessing changed you and brought you into union with Hanuman. So when you look into the mirror, you see your Divine self.
Just like Hanuman opens his chest to show us that Rama and Sita are in his heart, Hanuman can be in ours.
Obviously Hanuman can represent any of the Divine. As we go through the different phases in our lives, different archetypes resonate with us. Hanuman is a champion and a faithful servant.

I really like your interpretation. Hindu mythology has been a part of my life for almost 30 years. My mom was part of a spiritual group in the 80's. One of the members traveled all over the world with Maharishi. Other members were devotees of Babaji, Sai Baba, and others. My mom and several others traveled to India to visit gurus and shrines. Primarily, I have always had a pull towards Ganesha. Since this dream, Hanuman has followed me.
My main conclusion that I came to about my dream was that, not only am I Hanuman (in particular, the idea that I have forgotten about my own inner strength, connection to the divine, and personal power; and sometimes have to be reminded that I am stronger than I think), but we are all Hanuman. We have all been disconnected from our own divine nature, living lives of suffering that we can change by remembering.

I lean heavily toward Ganesha. I also very much love Kali and Shiva.
The inner strength idea makes a huge amount of sense. It's easy to feel like all of our strength has to come from ourselves, tapping us out to the point that we lose our connection with the Divine. Forgetting sucks, but it's an opportunity to remember, which is awesome. And like you said, once we remember, we can be stronger than ourselves because the gods have our backs.
I like you.
