as much as i enjoy substitute teaching, its made me realize that i could never deal with high school students on a daily basis for the rest of my life. with the bad ones now, i just have to keep them subdued for one day and give them back to their regular teacher. but i couldn't stand to deal with them and try to motivate kids that don't care. I guess part of life is figuring out how to deal with things we've never seen before. Never experienced before.

I've never known how to let things go. Especially good things.

I guess this is when I have to learn, becuase I have no other choice.

I hate funerals. I spent a good eight hours in the car yesterday driving to New Orleans and back, including at least an hour stopped on the spillway bridge becuase of some wreck.
